Welcome ! Practical information

From the top of its thousand years of history, Sully remains a family home. The youngest visitors very quickly become actors and the moment they spend at the Château creating memories becomes a reality! captivating animations and treasure hunts in the park, all adaptable according to the age groups of the pupils concerned.

We support you in setting up this day. So if you or your teaching team have specific avenues to explore concerning a story, a theme, an era or an activity, do not hesitate to let us know. We are happy to adapt.

 

AGES | CLASSES

Depending on the age groups of your students, we will adapt our speech so that they become the actors of these animated visits.

RATES 2021

The 1st activity 7€90 per person including access to the site (park, vegetable garden...) and a first visit or animation of your choice (duration of about 1 hour)

The 2nd activity 4€80 per person for a second activity on the same day.

The 3rd activity 2€10 per person for a third activity on the same day.

 

The day is offered to one accompanying person out of two.

Please note that we will have to retain the number of students announced for invoicing.

LITTLE MORE FROM SULLY

The snack is offered to all before your departure.

A room is at your disposal to deposit your bags and picnic in case of bad weather.

A path around the moat allows you to discover the four exterior facades of the Château, all different from each other.

The guided tour "Baby Lion Explores the Castle"

Baby Lion (the "youngest" of the lions on the Mac Mahon coat of arms) awaits his little guests for a ball at the castle! But to find him and dance with him, you'll have to follow the clues that will guide you as you explore the castle. A sensory journey through the living and reception areas of the castle.

Go in search of the puzzle pieces scattered around the park by our Coco the Parrot before putting them back together as a team.

Living independently in the castle is possible! A guided walk through the grounds will show your students the old facilities of the castle that allowed families to live in Sully.

Behind the scenes

Discover the small Italian-style theatre in Sully, recently restored and inaugurated in April 2024.
This activity takes place in two parts: a team scavenger hunt in the park in search of images related to the world of theatre, then a presentation of our theatre inside.

A guided tour of the Château to discover this emblematic era for Sully: the Renaissance. Your students will discover this period of history from an original perspective, exploring the architecture, fashion and beauty standards of the time, hygiene and health, food and the culinary arts of the Renaissance.

The history of the site, its Renaissance architecture, the role of the French Revolution at the Château, family anecdotes, and a presentation of Marshal MacMahon, born at the Château and elected President of the Republic in 1873. This tour takes place inside the Château, exploring both the reception rooms and more private spaces. Suitable for children from 4th grade (CM1) and up.

The Court of Sully is preparing to celebrate the engagement of the Prince of Sully. The students will then get to know this Prince-Knight, learn how to speak to him, become part of his official entourage, and gradually enter his story. The experience takes place within the historic apartments of the Château, furnished rooms that allow the Prince and his young guests to experience the tale together.

An era of splendor, human progress, and extraordinary inventions! Sully resounds to the sound of this new tune that awakens all of France and makes the color Magenta fashionable!

How a Knight of the Court gradually adapts to a new way of life and becomes a Renaissance Prince. Grand history, architecture, and family stories will immerse your students in the period covered by your curriculum. The tour takes place inside the Château's historic apartments, furnished to allow visitors to experience the atmosphere of the era.
