Sully is a place that makes you dream, an exceptional place to celebrate this commitment to life as a couple - the guests will remember it. Here was born the Maréchal de Mac Mahon, the only President of the French Burgundian Republic. His descendants, the Duchess of Magenta and her children, still live there. The castle is built from large towers and 4 different facades, all surrounded by moats with an exceptional Renaissance interior courtyard. The vegetable garden is classified as a Remarkable Garden. It is a magnificent castle but at the same it is a family home, and it is this combination that makes it unique. Dreamy but at the same time very lively, Sully is a grandiose setting, as romantic as one could wish, with the added warmth and human aspect that characterizes him.
Outside guests will be welcomed on the lawns around the castle, in the Renaissance courtyard or on the large terrace on the water; inside in the Ballroom or in the Orangery for the cocktail and then in the Stables for dinner and the evening.

Celebrate your union during a ceremony on the lawn, in the Renaissance courtyard or even in the ballroom of the Château.
Cocktail
The stables of the Château de Sully are rented with the holding of the cocktail on the lawns in front of the castle, in the outdoor theater, or in the enclosure of the Castle, on the terrace on the water or in the Renaissance courtyard, the balroom.
Stables
The former stables are large (400m²), one of the largest rooms in the region, which allows you to hold a reception with everyone in the same room. There is room to set up changing rooms, drop off gifts, receive the DJ and his equipment, places for entertainment or games, a candy bar....It is possible to set up a large marquee in front of the château if there are many guests or a small one to allow you to have, according to your imagination, a separate lounge, a tuxedo lounge outside...
The orangery
The Orangery in the Commons opposite the Stables presents a different style for more intimate weddings or as a retreat during the cocktail party on the lawns or in the park.
Brunch
It is possible to come back the next day to the Château, in the Gardens, or to the wine estate in Chassagne-Montrachet for a brunch, méchoui, picnic...
Accommodation
Accommodation in dormitories is available to you on site and in the village which can accommodate about 40 people.
You will also find several pleasant bed and breakfasts in the near vicinity and one or more shuttles can be organized between Sully and hotels of all categories in Autun or Beaune.
WINES
Wines from the Ducs de Magenta estate located at Morgeot Abbey, Chassagne Montrachet are offered at preferential rates.
